An indigenous solidarity and human rights organization in Chiapas and Oaxaca, Mexico. It ran centers for education and volunteer coordination in San Cristobal de las Casas and Oaxaca City until late 2011. Now it largely exists as a historical archive and a community for coordinating delegations to Oaxaca.
The committee of the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association that oversees continuing education for Unitarian Universalist ministers. I helped to organize the 2011 UUMA CENTER Institute for Excellence in the Ministry. Currently, I am on the coordinating committee of the Who Are Our Neighbors program.
Litigation Against Larry James
I am party to a complaint against Dr. Larry James, the top interrogation psychologist in Guantánamo during one of the prison’s worst periods of abuse. All with four other complaintants I am seeking to have Dr. James's license to practice psychology revoked. In this effort we are represented by the Harvard Human Rights Clinic.
An educational initiative of the Industrial Workers of the World, the college offers workshops, one-day educationals, presentations, an annual six day conference on labor organizing and working class radicalism. I serve as a member of the steering committee and coordinator of the Advisory Board.
